Hotel Fredericia becomes part of Milling Hotels

As of 1 October 2026 Hotel Fredericia together with Hotel Garni, Hotel Ærø and Hotel Svendborg will become part of the Funen-based, family-owned hotel group Milling Hotels.

After nearly 50 years of hotel operations, the Halberg family is passing the baton to an experienced hospitality business with strong roots and values from Funen, closely aligned with our own.

For our guests, this change of ownership means, above all, that everything you know will continue as before. Existing bookings and agreements remain valid as usual, and you will continue to meet the same staff and experience the hospitality you know.

With Milling Hotels, we will continue to safeguard and develop the hotel’s local ties and close relationship with the town and surrounding area. At the same time, we become part of a larger hotel community of 16 hotels, opening up new opportunities for the hotel’s continued development.

We look forward to this new chapter — and to continuing to welcome you.
